Regardless of the reason for your trip, whether it's a vacation, work, or study, it is essential to experience this moment with utmost tranquility. Soon you will realize that Romagna is a land of generous and hospitable people, always ready to help and advise with a smile those who visit it. We want anyone who arrives as our guest to immediately feel welcome, just as if they were at home.
Located within the Po Delta Park, in the wonderful Romagna countryside, a short distance from Cervia, Milano Marittima, Pinarella, and the sea, you will find my house, built in 2004. The two-story house is surrounded by a garden, and at the back, there is a small vegetable garden where during the summer, tomatoes, zucchinis, and aromatic herbs, much loved by our cuisine, are proudly displayed. The villa is located in Pisignano, a fraction of Cervia, in a peripheral area of the town, away from the noise of traffic but at the same time close to the center, where shops and essential services are not lacking. In front of the house, there is a playground for children and ample public parking.
The two-story house has three available rooms.
Breakfast is served in the kitchen, living room, or garden from 7:30 to 10:00. Upon request, the time can be adjusted.
The menu is agreed upon with our guests upon arrival.
Typically, we offer coffee, tea, milk, fruit juices, jams, tarts, cakes, cookies, and fresh bread.
Cereals, muesli, and chocolate cream are always greatly appreciated by our younger guests and never missing from our table.
To complete a varied and healthy breakfast, we also offer fresh seasonal fruit and yogurt in different varieties.
We always have a wide selection of herbal teas and infusions available for a relaxing evening.
Andrea is the manager of the B&B, but it will be me who takes care of your stay at our house. That's why I have decided to include my photo.
My name is Sandra and I am the mother of three boys, one of whom is Andrea, the manager. I am also a proud grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter named Camilla.
I will be the one to welcome you upon your arrival, prepare breakfast for you, and do everything possible to make you feel at home.
For nine years, my house has hosted people from all over Italy and even from abroad. Each person leaves a trace, a precious memory.
I love this activity more and more because it has given me the opportunity to meet different people from different countries, make friends, and say goodbye to guests who become friends at the end of their stay.
It has been a positive experience that pleasantly involves me and has enriched me personally. I want to thank all my past guests and those I will have the fortune to meet in our house in the coming months and years.
See you soon,
Sandra.
The evocative Pieve di Pisignano was probably built in the 10th century (the oldest document dates back to 977) on a majestic sand dune, on the outskirts of the Roman centuriazione of Cesena. In 1473, Pope Sixtus IV united the pieve with his possessions and dedicated it to the Augustinian nuns of the Most Holy Annunciation of Venice, known as the nuns of St. Lucia. After the Battle of Ravenna in 1512, fought between the French and the Spanish, the Pieve was destroyed by the scattered troops and subsequently rebuilt by the nuns in 1521. Six years later, it was consecrated to the protomartyr Saint Stephen: two marble plaques on the facade and in the apse testify to these important events. Over the centuries, the Pieve has been defaced by Baroque additions, but it has finally been restored to its original Romanesque style on two occasions (1911-12 and 1979-82), thanks to the efforts of the parish priests Don Romualdo Turchetti and Don Giuseppe Senni, as well as the intervention of the Superintendence for Environmental and Architectural Heritage. The name "Pieve" derives from the Latin "plebs-plebis," which means "people." Today, this precious historical testimony is immersed in the greenery of a park, where it is also possible to admire a Roman milestone dating back to the 1st century AD.
